Speedpainting

I've been super busy at work traveling for client meetings and getting presentations ready, but I have managed to keep up with my personal work. However, since most of that work is pursuing the publishing opportunities for my kid's book, I don't think my notes on agents and publishing houses would make a very exciting blog post. So I had to sneak in this speed painting to make up for it. Just messing around and decided to paint a landscape from my head. Then I added the pilot and airship to give it some semblance of story.

  5. Happy to know that my post read fairly well..I believe I ramble a lot! I think your style of illustrations for your book Small Dogs is perfect for the industry. There is so much to learn and consider as an illustrator approaching book work..I am on the journey and enjoying every bit of it. What I hear over and over and over again is to constantly work hard on your craft. Words of wisdom for me as I must work harder and spend less time getting distracted by other things. Glad that my post shed some info that you may not have considered! : )
