Here's an environment exploration for my "Galapagos" project. Though most people probably give painting more weight than drawing, I learned from Robh (Ruppel) the true value of a detailed worked out drawing. So I did the value studies first to help me figure out the feel and overall landscape in terms of broad shapes and proportions. Then I did the drawing to refine the composition and detail out the environment. Hope you enjoy!
