Composition at The Grand Mosque

I had the good fortune to visit the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi last week while I am traveling for work. It's a true marvel of architectural beauty and excellence, and I was in awe of the design work found throughout the site. From the proportions of the large pieces to the minutia of the intricate detail, it's pretty darned humbling to see something so beautiful on such a grand scale.

I've got lots of new artwork that I haven't posted due to my work travels, but I will soon. In the meantime, please enjoy these two shots that I took. I'm no photographer, but I'd like to think my eye for composition is what helps me take nice photos, even if they're just for reference.

  2. Beautiful shots, Mauricio! Yes, you do have the eye for composition. I hope you're having a lot of fun and filling up sketchbooks along the way with your work travels. I don't know how you do all that you do with a full time job!
