1...2...3...Draw!

I know it's been a few weeks since I've last posted, but I have been working a lot after work on my personal projects. I just don't want to post any of it here because its either too undeveloped or I'm simply waiting to unleash a more finished product.

In the meantime, here's some really quick (30 seconds or less) gesture drawings from a recent trip to the zoo. I went with a lot of story artists, and my goal was to capture the complete essence of the pose and action with the simplest marks, hence the pen. I feel I've gotten better at that. The next step now is better shape design, which I find tough to do while you're trying to scribble the pose in. Haha, I guess that's why drawing ain't easy! I've also been doing a ton of copies and I've been wanting to post them, but they're just studies and don't make for the best viewing material at times. Oh, well, we'll see :)
