Children's Book First Draft PRINTED!!!

GOOD NEWS - I finally have in my possession a hard copy of my children's book that I have been working on consistently for the past 9 months and which I started officially two summers ago. It's nothing official, just a copy that I personally ordered from an internet book printing site, but it's more than enough to keep me motivated to keep working on it as well as to show anyone to promote my book.

I wasn't able to "finish" the book, though to anyone else it would appear as though I had. The book is about 96% complete requiring just a few touch ups to some of the paintings as well as the redesign of a few minor things. I also need to redo my title logo as it is just something I slapped together to make my deadline. I gave myself the deadline of March for personal reasons, which is why not everything was done to completion.

And sorry for the blurred out image but I still want to hold off from a big public reveal. But for anyone really curious, I promise I will show some stuff soon.

I must say that I personally feel very good about this project, and even more so after showing it to some of my friends/coworkers who also happen to be amazing artists and fellow Art Center grads. The fact that they were impressed by it given their critical nature and educated eye meant a lot to me. I can't wait to introduce it to the world!
